Billy J. Hubbard

Billy J. Hubbard, age 78 of West Lebanon, IN died at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette, IN.

Billy was born on August 15, 1941 in Ridge Farm, IL.  He was the son of John Willis and Margaret Jean (Price) Hubbard.  He grew up in Ridge Farm, IL before moving to West Lebanon.  He married Linda Jane “Sue” Marshall on June 28, 1965.  She preceded him in death on June 25, 1988.

Billy served in the US Army. He worked at Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica and later worked at Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg.  Billy enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and playing poker.  He also enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts, dream catchers and statues.

Surviving are, children, Tracy J. Hubbard (Rebecca) of West Lafayette, IN, Shelley Sue Steele (Donnie) of Attica, IN, Kirt Lee Hubbard (Mikki) of Attica, IN and Johnny Ray “JR” Hubbard of Williamsport, IN; sisters, Linda Rush of Potomac, IL, Patsy Mickle of Tilton, IL, Naomi Garrison, twin sister, of Jamesburg, IL; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Esther Brown.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, IN on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Cathy McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rosewalk Village, 1903 Union Street, Lafayette, IN  47904. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
