Carolyn Turner

Carolyn Turner of West Lebanon, IN passed away on February 8. She was born on September 30, 1948. She was 76 years old. 

Carolyn was engaged to Virgil Liles and they shared a strong and loving relationship. She worked for Gillum Machining for 10 years before her retirement. She devoted her free time to country drives, fishing, crafting, reading, card playing, dart playing, and discovering yard sale treasures. 

Carolyn was a strong person. She was kind to everyone around her. She was a loyal and true friend. If she loved you, you were blessed. 

She is survived by the love of her life: Virgil Lyles, and by her 3 children: Melissa Cull (Stephen), Angela Newman (Wes), and Ryan Price (Shawntrell White). She leaves 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is the first of the Turner ladies to pass and she leaves siblings and spouses: Sharon Finney, Dee DiFore (Fred), Judy Overstreet, Mitzi Gillum, Buddy Turner (Becky), Edie Bray, and Tommie Weatherspoon (Jimmy) as well as many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Guy F. Turner and the late Elizabeth Turner.

 Visitation will be Thursday, February 13th at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 12-2. Service will be at 2pm with Pastor James Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
