Charles "Chuck" Kenneth Sward

Charles “Chuck” Kenneth Sward, age 59 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at New Hope of Indiana.

Chuck was born on September 23, 1964 in Marshfield, WI. He was the son of Alvin Oscar and Patricia Norene (Kellnhofer) Sward. Chuck attended Shawnee Learning Center and Attica Schools. 
 
 Chuck worked at Shawnee Learning Center. He attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica. Chuck enjoyed watching wrestling, slapstick movies, and the Colts. He gave the best back rubs and loved to sing “Elvira.”

8 sisters, Cynthia Rumple (husband: David) of Veedersburg, IN, Mary Johnson (husband: Walter) of Indianapolis, IN, Sandra Vandenberg (Husband: Les) of Hoopeston, IL, Suzanne Ricketts of West Lebanon, IN, Jeanne Jackson (companion: Allen Ashwill) of Williamsport, IN, Theresa Sward of New Market, IN, Heidi Flood (husband: Kenny) of Lafayette, IN, and Sara Steele (husband: Shawn) of West Lebanon, IN;

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Sward.

Visitation will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 407 S Perry St, Attica, IN 47918, on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. with Father David Rasner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
