Charles F. Fox, age 78, of passed away, July 16, 2006 at Hot Springs, Arkansas. Charles was born on November 30 1927 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Frank and Daisy (Krout) Fox. After graduating from high school, Charles enlisted in the US Army in 1946 and served for six years. He was stationed in Germany with the occupation forces and then at Ft Knox, Kentucky as a training instructor. He married Edna J Richmond at the end of his enlistment in 1952. Charles next earned a BS degree in business from Indiana University. He spent his career as an underwriter for Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Company, from which he retired as AVP. Along the way, he earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) conferred by The Institute. Surviving are:2 children, Charles D Fox of Indianapolis, IN and Dr. James Fox of Denver, CO; 2 brothers, Richard Fox of Lafayette, IN and James Fox of Atlanta, GA; and 1 grandchild, Keith C Fox of Denver, CO. Upon his death, Charles was cremated and his burial deferred until his wife Edna, passed away in 2018. It was his wish that they be buried in his home town, Williamsport.Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN.
