David Alan Thompson

David Alan Thompson, age 57 of Independence, IN, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his residence. David was born on October 23, 1962 in Clinton, IN. He was the son of Bobby Max and Lora Jean (Fisher) Thompson. David attended Turkey Run schools. He lived in Rockville and the Parke County area for most of his life, living briefly in Montgomery County before moving to Independence, IN where he had resided the past five years. David delivered newspapers for the Journal Review in Crawfordsville. He loved to ride motorcycles and fish. David loved his dogs. Surviving are, Girlfriend, Deborah Smith of Independence, IN; Daughter, Tiffany Smith of Independence, IN; Sister, Patricia (Dennis) McCarty of Crawfordsville, IN; Many special friends David was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Mark and Steve Thompson. Inurnment will be at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville, IN at a later date.
