Edward "Ed" Wayne Allison

Edward Wayne “Ed” Allison, age 79 of Williamsport, IN, passed away at 1:07 a.m. on January 7, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent in Williamsport.

 Ed was born on January 27, 1945 in Bismarck, IL. He was the son of Richard Scott and Freda Mae (White) Allison. Ed was raised in Warren County and was a 1963 graduate of Seeger High School. He began farming in Warren County before moving to Fountain County in 1965. Ed farmed in Fountain County until his retirement in 2012 when he moved back to Warren County. He married Sharon Kay Black in Rockville, IN on May 18, 2002 and she preceded him in death July 22, 2021.

 Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his 2 grandkids.

 Surviving are:

1 son, Tim Wayne Allison (wife: Michele) of Attica, IN;

1 brother, John Allison (wife: Diane) of Williamsport, IN;

1 sister, Betty Jean Collins (husband: Burk) of Rockville, IN;

2 grandchildren, Kayla Blanton (husband: Tadd) and Lukas Allison (girlfriend: Alyssa);

3 great-grandchildren, twin girls Adley & Sophie Blanton, and great-grandson Blaine Allison

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sharon.

Visitation will be held at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating.
