Edward C. Reitz

Edward C. Reitz, age 75 of Williamsport, IN passed away at 5:15 p.m. on September 30, 2023 at home on hospice care. Ed was born on October 28, 1947 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of the late Arnot Reitz and Bertha Reitz Pugh. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and half brothers, Lawrence Reitz and George Reitz. Ed married Lisa Reitz on July 29, 1984 and she survives. Along with his wife, he is survived by sons, Holden (Karly) Reitz of Williamsport, IN, Matt (Christie) Reitz of Stone Bluff, IN, and Mike Reitz (girlfriend: Pam Warner) of Attica, IN; sister, Betty Leak of Attica, IN; brother, Don (Sheila) Reitz of Independence, IN; grandchildren, Amos Reitz, Zane Reitz, Olivia Reitz, Jack Reitz, Michael Reitz, and Abraham Reitz. Ed retired from Fairfield (Dana) Manufacturing of Lafayette in 2010. Ed was a talker and never met a stranger. He loved raising dairy goats, camping, watching his grandkids play sports, and watching his grandson race street stocks. Just seeing his grandkids always put a smile on his face. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport. Funeral services will be there on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor J. David Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport.
