Flossie F. (Snell) Arnold

Flossie F. (Snell) Arnold, age 104 of Williamsport, IN died at 7:36 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Flossie was born on August 3, 1913 to her parents Lonzo Wesley and Zettie (Nolan) Snell of Forest, IN. She graduated from Michigantown High School. On June 6, 1932 she married Lawrence “Kelly” Arnold and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1981. Flossie was a homemaker and an avid Purdue and Pacer fan. She served on the Democratic Election Board for 15 years. She attended the Williamsport United Methodist Church. Surviving are, 2 sons, Wayne Arnold (wife: Sharon) of Attica, IN and Jeffrey Arnold of Arlington, WA; 3 daughters, Bernadine von Cannon (husband: Keith) of Dayton, OH, Marilyn Imhoff (husband: Mark) of Tucson, AZ, and Vanna Jo Ohm (husband: Vic) of Campbell, PA; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Flossie was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Kelly” Arnold, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 sons, Leroy Arnold and Lawrence Arnold, Jr. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation for the Hunger Endowment Fund.
