Gordon Edward “Bucky” Wesley, age 61 of West Lebanon, IN, passed away at 3:38 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He had battled a lengthy chronic illness.
Bucky was born on November 21, 1959 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Jasper Clay and Dorothy (Bracken) Wesley. Bucky lived in Warren County for most of his life. He was a 1978 graduate of Seeger High School. Bucky married Kenja Smith on December 20, 1978 in Kingsville, TX and she survives.
Bucky served in the US Navy, stationed in Kingsville, TX from 1978-1982. He later worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Lafayette, IN where he was a supervisor.
Bucky was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Bucky earned a black belt in karate, which he enjoyed doing with his son Sean. He loved his dog, Small Fry.

1 brother, Bill Wesley of Williamsport, IN;
1 sister, Melissa “Missy” Smith (Doug) of Williamsport, IN;
15 grandchildren, Taylor, Nicholas, Keela, Ethan, Zoe, Aiden, Lucas, Emma, Levi, Hailey, Conner, Colton, Rosslyn, Hurricane, and Clifford;
2 great-grandchildren, Otis Mae and Aspen
A graveside service will be held at West Lebanon Cemetery on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with daughter Tiffany Wray officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
