Ivan Eugene Keith

Ivan Eugene Keith, age 85 of Bloomingdale, IN, passed away at 10:52 a.m. on Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Waters of Covington. Ivan was born on January 30, 1935 in Hoopeston, IL. He was the son of Raymond Glenn & Ethel (Warner) Keith. After his father died when he was 6, his grandmother helped raise him. He lived in Las Vegas, Watseka, Southern Illinois, and Williamsport before moving to Bloomingdale. He married Roberta “Bobbi” Auxier on February 14, 1976 and she survives. Ivan was the Martin County Deputy Coroner, drove an ambulance, and was a funeral director in Watseka, IL. He also served as a preacher. Ivan served in the U.S. Army working on airplanes. Ivan attended and sang at the Cowboy Church in Park County and traveled to Cowboy Churches to serve. He was also a member of the Montezuma Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling, building model airplanes, watching deer, and playing guitar. Ivan loved his dog Moochie and raising goats, turkeys, chickens, and rabbits. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving with his wife, Roberta “Bobbi”, are, 1 daughter, Tammie J. (Larry) Watkins of Attica, IN, 2 grandchildren, Alexis R. Bruner and Max V. Bruner III Ivan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norman Glenn Keith, son-in-law, Max Vernon Bruner II; and grandchildren, Bradley Glen Bruner and Sabrina Danielle Bruner. Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with brother Donnie Ely officiating.
