Jeanene A. (Hutchison) White

Jeanene A. (Hutchison) White, age 83 of Covington, IN, and longtime Warren County resident, went to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Jeanene was born on April 18, 1937 in Attica, IN. She was the daughter of Ralph and Glendora (Jordan) Hutchison.  Jeanene resided in Attica until 5^thgrade. Jeanene then moved to Stone Bluff. She moved to Warren County in 1949 and lived there until moving to Covington in 1995 where she has resided since. She was a 1955 graduate of West Lebanon High School. Jeanene married Dale V. White on September 22, 1956 in West Lebanon and he survives.

Jeanene worked for Metropolitan School Corp from 1980 until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church where she had taught primary church, Sunday School classes and directed Vacation Bible School. Jeanene enjoyed reading, crocheting, and following her grandchildren in sports.

Surviving with her husband, Dale, are, 2 children, Rebecca White (Deb Provo) of Nashville, TN and D. Kevin White of Covington, IN; 2 sisters, Loucinda Zachery (Terry) of Franklin, IN and Jackie Weston (Don) of Williamsport, IN; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie White, Shanda Allison (Doug), and Stacey White (Jamie Hazel); and their mother, Jennie White; 3 great-grandchildren, Landon, Aiden, and Avery White; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd White; grandson, Scott William White; brother, Robert Hutchison.

Private graveside services were held at West Lebanon Cemetery with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough. A celebration of life will be held at the West Lebanon Christian Church at a later date.
