Katherine Geneva (Hill) Niccum

Katherine Geneva (Hill) Niccum, age 71, of Boswell, IN passed away at 3:14 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Geneva was born on March 11, 1950 in Tazewell, TN.  She was the daughter of Arvill and Rettie G. (Lambert) Hill.  Geneva attended Pine Village and Rainsville Schools, graduating from Benton Central High School.  She married Gerald “Jerry” Niccum on April 22, 1967 in Otterbein, IN. He survives. 

Geneva worked for Venetian Blind and then Hann Craft retiring in 2012.  She enjoyed her flowers, loving to garden and cook.  She had an extensive cookbook collection. When she was younger she loved to draw and paint.

Children, Katherine Jeri Girardier (Tim) of Ambia, IN, Vickie Michelle Zeller (Steve) of Oxford, IN, and J. R. Niccum (Sara) of Fowler, IN

Siblings, Martha James (Wayne) of Rainsville, IN, Janette Moore (Don) of Harrogate, TN

Sister-in-law, Lucille Hill of Talbot, IN

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Harley Hill and Sam “Bud” Hill and his wife, Jenette “Sis” Hill.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Services will be there in the chapel on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Joel Whitehead officiating.  Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
