Linda Rae (Talbott) Miller

Linda Rae (Talbott) Miller, age 80 of Lafayette, IN, passed away at 3:08 a.m. on June 6, 2024 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. 

Linda was born on February 25, 1944 in Waynetown, IN. She was the daughter of Oliver Ray and Mildred Louise (Biddle) Talbott. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Fowler High School and later graduated from Indiana University with her bachelor’s degree. She married Lonny Alan Miller on September 28, 1975 in Attica, IN and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1995. 

Linda worked at R.R. Donnelley in the mail room. She later worked at Purdue University for 10 years prior to her retirement. 

Linda attended Dayton Methodist Church near Lafayette. She enjoyed flower gardening, baking, and was an avid reader. 

Linda is survived by her 3 siblings: Jerry Dean Talbott (Carol) of Thorntown, IN, Beulah Loraine Ray of Hernando, FL, and Jeffrey Wayne Talbott of Lafayette, IN. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Ardith Ann Talbott. 

A graveside service will be held at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Wallace with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
