Martha "Marty" Ellen (Bisner) Haynes

Martha Ellen “Marty” (Bisner) Haynes, age 73 of Lafayette, IN, died at 2:55 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence. Marty was born on March 17, 1949 in Williamsport, IN. She was the daughter of Richard C. and Ruby F. (Cook) Bisner. Marty grew up in Rainsville and had resided in Lafayette the past 13 years. She married Jeffrey “Jeff” Canen and he survives. Marty worked as a union electrician, nurse, and did taxes. Her recent work was as a hospice nurse. Marty attended The Church in Lafayette. She was a member of Lafayette Great Banquet. Marty enjoyed attending bible studies and quilting. Surviving with her husband, Jeff, are, 5 sons, Mike (Kelli) Luttrell, Mark (Shawnelle) Luttrell, Pete (Dana) Luttrell, Taylor (wife: Krissy) Haynes, and Bill Haynes Grandsons, Sam and Leo, granddaughter, Dani, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 siblings, Donald Bisner and Fran Memmer Marty was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be on July 16, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at the Dayton United Methodist Church, 7201 Wesleyan Dr, Dayton, IN 47941.
