Patricia Davis, known by friends and family as "Dee Dee", age 91 of Williamsport, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 and will be missed by many.
Dee Dee was born in Alvin, IL on June 1, 1932. She was the daughter of Frank and Maude (Curry) Harvey. She was one of 13 children. Dee Dee was raised in Hoopeston before moving to Williamsport. She was a graduate of Alvin High School. Dee Dee attended beauty school in Danville and later earned her master's degree in Indianapolis.
Dee Dee owned and operated the Clip & Curl in Boswell for 10 years. She then moved with her sons to Williamsport. Dee Dee owned the First Lady Salon. She spent the last 20 years working with Danny Kincade at The Hair Port. She did hair for Fisher Funeral Home, Grady Funeral Home, and Maus Funeral Home for many years.
Dee Dee lead a full and exciting life. When she was young, she enjoyed music and nightlife with a love for Big Band, country, etc. Dee Dee always prided herself in her trade and her faith later in life.
Surviving are:
1 son, Benny Frank Harvey Jr. of Delaware;
1 brother, Richard Joseph Harvey (Debra) of Rossville, IL;
1 sister, Gloria Ice of Danville, IL;
2 granddaughters, Natalie Harvey and Richelle Aichberger;
6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard Joseph Harvey, 10 brothers and sisters, and a granddaughter, Nichole Hill.
A celebration of life will be held at the Senior Center in Williamsport on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
