Paulette Ann (Hannon) Spivey, age 80 of Williamsport, IN and longtime resident of West Lebanon, passed away at 8:21 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Paulette was born on August 3, 1942 in Portland Arch, IN. She was the daughter of Paul Andrew and Frances Ann (Hagley) Hannon. Paulette attended Attica High School. She lived most of her life in West Lebanon and had resided in Williamsport for the past 27 years. Paulette married Richard Dean Spivey in Sterling, IN on July 4, 1959 and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2021. Paulette previously worked as a cook at a nursing home in Danville, IL. Her most important job was being a stay at home mom raising her 7 children. When her children were little, she attended mom’s time out at the church. She loved crocheting, cooking, and making Christmas candy. Paulette was part of a CB club and her handle was “Smiley.” Surviving are, 7 children, Richard Wayne Spivey (Colleen) of West Lafayette, IN, Jeffrey Bryan Spivey of West Lebanon, IN, Michael Shane Spivey (Tammy) of Veedersburg, IN, and Darren Andrew Spivey (Kristy) of Attica, IN; Kimberly Ann Spivey of Attica, IN, and twins, Jason Travis Spivey (Leslie) of Williamsport, IN and James Stewart Spivey of Williamsport, IN; 3 brothers, John Hannon (Hallie) of Stone Bluff, IN, Bob Hannon (Marsha) of Attica, IN, and Rick Hannon (girlfriend: Chris) of Lake Wales, FL. 15 grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; 3 great-great grandchildren Paulette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; 2 brothers, Jim Strawser and Dale Strawser. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. EST with Minister Daneen Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
