Randall H. “Randy” Brenner, age 72 of Williamsport, IN passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at St. Mary Healthcare Center in Lafayette, IN. Randy was born on March 11, 1948 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Hugh Morton “Pete” and Rosemary “Rosie” Brenner. Randy was a lifelong Warren County resident. He was a 1966 graduate of Seeger High School. Randy later attended welding school in Nashville, TN to become a certified welder. He married Peggy L. (Milton) Hutchison on November 26, 1987 at the Hickman Heights Christian Church and she survives. After welding school, Randy joined and proudly served the USMC reserve out of Danville, Illinois for six years attaining rank of Sgt. During this time Randy drove a fuel truck for Farm Bureau Co-op, then went to Harrison Steel Castings Co in Attica, IN, until he could begin to farm and farmed until 1986. While farming he was elected to 4 terms as Warren County Commissioner. After farming Randy worked for McGee Oil, then Senesacs. He then started work at Fairfield Manufacturing Company in Lafayette, IN as a set-up lead man and machinist until his retirement in 2014. Randy was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. He enjoyed golfing, taking family vacations, and going out to eat with his family. Surviving with his wife, Peggy, are, 5 Children, Scott Brenner (Shiho) of San Diego, CA, Jennifer Cork (Chris) of Zionsville, IN, Elizabeth Reece of Williamsport, IN, Russ Brenner (Joanna) of Williamsport, IN, and Melissa Lopez (José) of Covington, IN; Twin sister, Cannie Sue Inman (William “Bill”) of Williamsport, IN Brothers, twins, Warren “Kent” Brenner (Marianne) of Lafayette, IN and William “Kim” Brenner (Dee) of Shelbyville, IN; 12 grandchildren, Midori Brenner, Maya Brenner, Olivia Rueth, Anthony Wilks, Devon Reece, Jeff Reece, Kailey Brenner, Konner Brenner, Leland Pickett, Julian Pickett, Taran Pickett, and Adrian Lopez. Randy was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth & Dorcas Milton, brother-in-law, Samuel Milton, son, Lucas A. Hutchison, still born twin sons Matthew and Mark Brenner, and still born granddaughter, Isabel Faith Cork. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Williamsport Christian Church from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Ministers Gary Milton and Jesse Stoner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport Christian Church Childrens Ministry. The family would like everyone attending to please wear a mask.
