Regina E. (Norfleet) Bryant

Regina E. (Norfleet) Bryant, age 67 of West Lebanon, IN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Regina was born on May 5, 1954 in Trimble, KY. She was the daughter of Bennie and Edith (Stephenson) Norfleet. Regina was raised in Nancy, KY before moving to Williamsport in 1977. She moved to West Lebanon in 1979 and had resided with her daughter and granddaughters the past 3 years. Regina was a 1972 graduate of Nancy High School.   She married Melvin Edward Bryant in Somerset, KY in 1973 and they later divorced in 1996.

Regina worked at Wen Products in Fowler for 4 years. She later worked at Harrison Steel Casting Company in Attica from August 1994 until her retirement in December 2009.

Regina was a member of Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, camping, and listening to gospel music and country music classics. She also enjoyed playing coloring games on her phone and watching crime shows and history documentaries on TV. When someone was being stupid, she would “Gibbs” slap them.

Surviving are,

1 daughter, Rachel Marie Cooper of West Lebanon, IN;

2 step-children, Dale Ray Bryant and Lori Ann Salla, both of Pine Knot, KY;

4 siblings, Glendel Norfleet (wife: Frances) of IL,  DeLoris Conrick (husband: Jim) of Valparaiso, IN, Larry Norfleet (wife: Carolyn) of Nancy, KY, and Gary Norfleet of Nancy, KY;

4 grandchildren, Angel Marie Paige Cahoon, Kaylynn Nicole Cooper (Nate Green), Brittany Salla, and Mary Beth Salla Stephens (husband: Kenneth);

4 great-grandchildren, Matthew Salla, Madison Salla, Isabella Stephens, and Destiny Stephens;

1 step-grandson, Dakota Stevens (wife: Mack);

A special niece, Janet Joyce;

Several nieces and nephews;

Special friends whom she thought of as family, Chellsy Tiffin (Joe Perkins) and her daughter Anna Tiffin

Regina was preceded in death by her parents; fiancé, Wayne Kimberly; 4 brothers, Bernard Norfleet, Wendell Norfleet, Dormas Norfleet, and Louid Norfleet; 1 sister, Delphia Green; 2 sister-in-law, Mary Norfleet and Shirley Norfleet; and niece, Christina Norfleet.

Private graveside services were held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Nancy, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
