Rosann Gooden

Rosann Gooden, age 95 of West Lebanon, IN passed away at home Sunday, September 29, 2024. 

Rosann was born on November 30, 1928 in Williamsport, IN. She was the daughter of Lowell and Ethel Simmons Minnick. Rosann was a 1946 graduate of Williamsport High School. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County. Rosann married John Gooden on February 14, 1947 in Williamsport. 

Rosann worked at the Farmers Central Bank/Old National Bank for several years. She also worked at L.Meis in Danville, IL. She had many dogs over the years and especially enjoyed her dog, Heidi. She was an avid IU basketball fan. 

Rosann was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. 

Surviving are: 

Sister, Janet Myers of Covington, IN; 

2 children, Connie (Mike) Brenner of Lafayette, IN and Michael Gooden of West Lafayette, IN; 

9 grandchildren, Jeff Brenner, Michelle Blackburn, Tracey McDaniel, Rustin Gooden, Katie Clemmons, Terri Ann Klodzen, Lacey Thompson, Greg Gooden and Amber Gooden; 

16 Great Grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Kraig, Hallie, Matthew, Cora, Mazie, Larkin, Gus, Junie, Bea, Marty, Susie, Nolan, Owen and Audrey. 

Rosann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; son, Terry; brother, O.K. Minnick and sister, Betty Galloway. 

The family would like to express a special thank you to Roy and Linda Wesley, Pam Reynolds and Marcy Johnson for the special care and attention they gave Rosann. 

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the West Lebanon Cemetery with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Memorials contributions may be made to The West Lebanon Christian Church Missions Fund. Grady Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
