Shirley Diane (Rouse) Whitehead

Shirley Diane (Rouse) Whitehead, age 69 of Attica, IN, died at 1:05 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at her residence. Shirley was born on August 11, 1950. She was the daughter of Robert Rouse and Fern Wilson. Shirley was the step-daughter of Dale Gene Wilson Sr. and Hulda Rouse.  She married Christopher Columbus “Jack” Whitehead on October 10, 1970 in Attica, IN and he preceded her in death May 19, 2019. Shirley enjoyed reading books, doing puzzles, playing with her grandkids, collecting dolls, and playing cell phone games.  She also enjoyed driving along the countryside with her husband, Jack, and looking at deer. Shirley loved Elvis Presley. Surviving are, Children, Angel M. Stulz (Bill) of Attica, IN, Jeffrey J. Whitehead (Tina) of Southeast, MO, and Mark A. Vanness of Mayfield, KY; Step-mother, Hulda Rouse of Attica, IN; Sisters, Chris Bowlus (Curt) of Attica, IN and Donna Ward of Attica, IN; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild on the way Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; step-father; daughter, Michelle D. “Micky” Bryan; and 3 brothers, Dale Gene Wilson Jr., Darrell Wilson, and Bill Beavers.
