Teresa L. Stitt

Teresa L. Stitt, age 60 of Williamsport, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer.

Teresa was born in Chicago, IL on March 19, 1963. She was the daughter of Alfred and Alice L. (Kochell) Armes. Teresa was a 1982 graduate of Seeger High School. She married Jerry R. Stitt on October 15, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV and he survives.

Teresa worked at Arconic in Danville, IL for the past 25 years. She had previously worked at Heatcraft for over 20 years.

Teresa attended Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at their cabin in the woods in Wisconsin. Teresa enjoyed her dogs over the years. She was a very easy-going person but was very tough. Teresa persevered through all life’s difficulties.

Surviving with her husband, Jerry, are:

2 sons, Clayton Ross Stitt (Hannah) of Lafayette, IN and Zachary W. Stitt of Lafayette, IN;

1 brother, Lloyd Wade Armes (Beth) of Attica, IN;

3 grandchildren, Evan Emmerick, Charlotte Stitt, and Adalyn Stitt

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Julie Salts.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m.
