Thomas "Tom" Wayne Marshall

Thomas Wayne “Tom” Marshall, age 81 of Williamsport, IN passed away at 10:49 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. Tom was born on March 23, 1940 near State Line. He was the son of Raymond and Elsie (Tanner) Marshall. Tom was a life-long resident of Warren County. He attended State Line schools and was a 1958 graduate of Covington High School. Tom married Lila Mae Hanson on March 28, 1958 and she survives. Tom cut timber and worked in construction in his early years. He later worked at Olin-Mathieson. Tom worked for the Warren County Highway department where he was the superintendent of Warren County roads. Tom had attended Johnsonville Church. He was a member of Fountain F&AM Lodge #60 in Covington. Tom was also a member of the West Lebanon Cemetery board. He loved his family and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. Surviving with his wife, Lila, are, 2 children, Tim Marshall (Nancy) of Williamsport, IN and Danny Marshall of Lafayette, IN; 2 grandchildren, Thomas Marshall (Sabrina) of San Clemente, CA and Kyle Marshall of West Lebanon, IN; 4 great-grandchildren, Carter Marshall and Maddux Marshall both of West Lebanon, IN and Kylee and Skylin Marshall both of San Clemente, CA Tom was preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Masonic services will be there in the chapel on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow with Pastor Randy Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
